Destenee www.destenee.com “Everythings so wonderful”

An incredibly gifted pianist, vocalist, songwriter and producer, Destenee’s talent and ambition were ultimately too powerful for the young artist to stay in the small town of Winchester Massachusetts, and since moving to Los Angeles, she has learned to appreciate and value her diverse roots. Alternately weaving joy and pain, hope and love into her ingenious compositions, the 18 year old crafts an exceptional journey that is ultimately unraveled in her highly anticipated debut album “THE FATE OF MUSIC”. Her powerful and sultry voice and her amazing piano performances are truly outstanding on her popular singles “I Love You”, “Galaxy Baby”, and “I Need to Know” featuring Poc Dawone
Talented at a level that belies her age, Destenee has had the opportunity to work along the sides of industry heavy hitters such as the legendary George “Funky” Brown from Kool and the Gang, and Sterling Davis, acclaimed songwriters Luigie Gonzalez, Margo Thunder, Nasri Atweh, Sandy Joyce, and Tonie Goldsmith, up and coming producers I.C.U, Choice, and Switch Hitters, and Mega producers DaRock, and Lil Steve from the Underdo

Are U Wasting Time?

What you are about to experience is the work of Asim Ali, writer, entertainer Hip Hop spoken word recording artist, cinematographer, youth advocate and motivational speaker. The origin of this work comes from the heart of his life’s experience, observations, hopes, dreams and overall concerns for what ails us as a civilized society. His artistic contribution is provocative, fresh, creative, bold and entertaining. Asim’s approach to creating music and film projects aim to increase awareness and also looks to inspire change in the way we as a society think, act and interact with one another. Mr. Ali evolved and is a gritty survivor of the crime filled streets of St. Louis Missouri. He is the oldest of five and was reared by his hard working mother. She was plague with debilitating arthritis as a young woman and kept the family together as best she could. His father was an imprisoned Muslim and street hustler that maintained virtually no family contact. Determined to over come the inner city statistical odds, of poverty, jail time and early death, Asim Ali refused to give up! And although St. Louis city will always be considered home for Asim, he credits much to living in the The Bronx, Harlem and Queens New York with helping shape his artistic direction. 130th and St. Nicholas in Harlem New York is where he recorded his first demo. Asim never looked back. This energetic artist brings to life the emotions of frustration, pain and also hope by using his unique brand of in your face “Hip Hop / Spoken Word” and the heart gripping real life images that have been captured on film. The powerful and inspiring words of Asim Ali are brashly combined eloquently with composed jazz influenced Hip Hop music and unforgettably eye catching images of everyday people displayed in their natural element. “Sometimes it takes the controversial to make the reversal.” Asim Ali “SPOKEN WORD THAT TOUCHES THE SOUL”
